Even if you were doing the least efficient use of your activity time which is to trade both before and after for each alt, it would only be 16 15 minute usages (unless you insist on wasting a full 15 minute in between switching from char 1 to char 2) which is 4 hours daily on your collection character which isn't anywhere near 12 hours a day. You could just do all the trading at the end of the day though too.

As said before: hit the limit first, then you can let us know how you are hitting it and whether or not changes need to be made.
