Mhmmm... I started another short paragraph outlining that, but didn't wanna get wordy like I tend to do sometimes >,<, so I just left it at that last question....
Why would someone that actually pushes higher be happy having to take steps back just to be less annoyed by the game? Which would steps back would be annoying too... rock and hard place. I'm a traditional kind of gal a lot of times. You choose to play the game then play it for what it is (which is what I do, farming Korb in Redwood or Bog Swamp 95% of the time). Although, I know I'm he can do so much more. I've been in FONR in a full group farming mobs on Korb.... ONE fight and over encumbered! That's obnoxious. It may be a little more boring and not justice to Korb, but I'd rather not have to deal with that. I'm not against farming trophies either. Redwood gives a full load without going over in two fights, so there I am.
Look at the flip side: I'm not pvp'er but find it interesting to read those people talking - whether it's about a fight or about their build or a zone, etc. Those players must push pve to check out and hone to win. It's not like they're typically planning for several seasons ahead, and nothing before, either. They have more of a time frame set forth - especially for as long as seasons are, it's hard to say 'oh i'll do it for the next one' because in half a year you might lose too much interest and take a break.
Anyway, if their willing to put in the work then I think accounting for the high end dynamic of trophy farming is legit. There is no other time in the game that fighting one fight (even while fully grouped) can drop over 1400 rock of trophies. Then it'd be which way to present the poison: legendary skill? paid upgrade? must be in, and have paid back, debt with DTM? Successfully cooked Lobby? Tamed DL's koks? Derailed Tsu and gotten him to admit it? ......
TLDR
Support an option, not a total "fix"
