and if there's a drop in tc purchase then tc prices will go down and people will be able to afford them easier. not everyone is as rich as you are :P

so please raise gold cap to like 300 mil or something

gem set 5 costs the gold cap...kinda silly price to make someone hit gold cap rather then something like 45m. imo gold cap should be raised even more so now since we have things in game set price of the current gold cap. let alone tiered lg's and stuff

Full support of any kind of a gold cap raise or we have to dance on thin ice to buy the 5th gem pouch (should I ever get to buying it) or risk losing gold for this silly cap-ness.

Note: I don't really have a stake in this, yet, as the most gold I've ever had at once has been <15m.

2 Things really quick, then i'll step off this thread:

1) Unsigned ints have a range up to 2 bil, but I haven't the gall to ask for such as a limit...yet.
2) Since gold irl has a weight, perhaps a skill that raises the gold cap based on the weight you can carry (possibly with strength playing into that just a smidge), as everything else currently does. This could take the form of a legendary skill that raises from the current gold cap by a percentage given your max carrying weight, or you could assign each gold piece a weight and aggregate it to something that makes sense (50m cap being around lvl 100 decumberance/weight of wisdom/endure, for example) so it's unlikely anyone will be negatively affected by the change.

Gold cap is just fine .

A tiny hassle to cap it when getting 5th pouch once in the lifetime of character is really nothing at all.

Besides there is no gold cap . You can have as many alts to hold it for you as you want Players have alts to hold masters , have crafting skills etc.

Huge gold cap would damage the game
For example it would encourage flipping TC's or other valuables if they show up at lower price .
Gold cap is not in place to cause inconvenience but protect economy . This way goods can be sold in smaller stacks over time making it possible for other to buy.

You've already been told that it doesn't exactly work like that. It's the other way around cause rich people (who have multiple toons all at or near cap) keep buying tcs to keep pushing. Creating more toons just to hold gold is a hassle since they all will need to have paid status upkept.

I've hit gold cap MULTIPLE times, instead, I just buy ALL the TCs so I can continue farming and opening chests. How is that fair to the people that actually need to buy them if I keep buying them all since I can't hold that much gold?? Just raise it up to 99,999,999, that way there is no having to increase the field size in the database.

Soooo you will just wait twice as long before you do the exact same thing? Biggest issue imo is people who dont spend their gold on upgrading their toons, they just sit there hoarding tcs with their gold and stockpiling what they resource. Raising the gold cap wont fix anything. Yes it can be a pia at times and sure it would be nice if it was higher but other then for convenience its not going to change anything.

Also. just want to say. ALL of you who have been asking for more gem pouchs for years.... glitch finally gives you the option and all you can do is complain like little kids that it costs too much. L O L
