Well here's a thought, based somewhat on Stormy's idea and Rogue's idea: There are currently a number of toons running around with 20+ beast kills. I would imagine that the Beast, being all knowing as they are would be rather upset upon encountering these individuals or their groups in combat and would tend to 'not hold back' when fighting them. I'd personally think that a Beast would be more likely to insta kill a group of three each with 20 kills than say a group with no kills (it wouldn't be expecting as much from them now, would it.) I'd think this would scale as the number of total group kills went up (20 + 20 + 5 being equal to 15 + 15 + 15).
The Legendary Beast being the arrogant SOB that he is probably couldn't care less how many beast kills a group had though and would eat everyone with equal zeal...
