Also, we have the potential to buff the new LGs as they drop (we're buffing the Staff of Serpent Ice) so feel free to make a case for a need to buff a particularly rare LG, if you believe it is rare because nobody wants it as opposed to it being hoarded.

The least used weapons from each category and because of which are most likely in need of a buff are:

1h Slash - Sword of Solar Sheen This is the least used out of all the 1h slash weapons. Now 1h weapons on their own are not very popular but in the case of the slashers there is the beg blade which is much more popular due to its multicast proc. The Hydrafang set does pair well with each other and has a good stand alone proc for someone wanting to use it with a bow. The Deveining sword is too new to judge its usage and popularity but on paper it looks to be viable in high tier combat with the cure proc.

2h Slash - Blood Boiling Beheader A monopoly was held on this weapon for a very long time before it was sold to dtm which is still a monopoly of sorts but at least now people can get it. It is a hybrid weapon made to mix dotting with slashing. The problem with this is the Spear of Conjuration can do this much much better and not many would be fussed to just switch to pierce instead of sticking with slash. A possible buff to this could be increasing the dot damage to a 25% increase and possibly up the max damage a tad to make it more in line with the others which do 49 and 59 more max damage than it.

1h Pierce - Dreadskull Swordbreaker It is hard to pick a 1h pierce weapon since there are so few and they are all very specialized in their uses. Hydrafang is made for multiattacks and DD crits which is a viable strategy. The Dragontooth dagger pairs well with its slash counterpart so if this one was lacking they both would need a buff. The lack of people using the Dreadskull Swordbreaker could be very well attributed to the lack of shield users in general but with all the regen nerfs it should be on the rise. A potential buff could be to add an additional 5% chance to avoid blocks and parries to help the weapon connect and have more chances to daze.

2h Pierce - Demonblood Ranseur The Fang Spear of Conjuration is the clear winner when it comes to most used 2h pierce weapon. It pairs well with hybrid builds and does decent damage on its own. The Demonblood has a proc that really only pairs well with a rogue class and even then it doesn't have a supporting proc to help with gems at all. A potential change that could be done to this is add in a proc for X% increase to poison gem damage/tick speed/manergy cost.

1h Crush - The Ender of Suffering 1h crush in general is pretty under used as with all 1h varieties however crush does have the most versatility in terms of there being a weapon for tanks, tank breakers, dps and team support. The 14.5% chance to avoid blocks and parries does sound good but it has 0 effect outside of pvp since mobs cannot parry or block. In order to buff this in pvp without going overboard you could allow half the proc to go towards non crush attacks (pets, anything in the opposite hand, bows and DDs).

2h Crush - Cudgel of Cursed Blood The 800 disease on every block sounds good but with all the new anti dot things coming out it is a nerf to this proc. Additionally, I may be wrong on how hit chance works but, the hit chance proc works against the other proc causing less blocks overall and reducing the potential dot damage.

Whips - Angel Hair/Albino Rattler/Vamp All these whips are greatly under used although I believe I listed them in order from least used to most used. The Angel Hair whip almost suffers from the same thing as the Ender of Suffering except the whip has hit chance at least. Having it be essentially a pvp whip (since boulderling whip has higher hit chance for those wanting it in pve) it is greatly outclassed by the Helkok whip since the majority of nod wants high numbers and the old bm haste. A fix for all whips could be to give varying amount of haste (5-15% giving the lowest % to the most used whip and increase the haste as the popularity goes down).

Staves - Covered by the newest drop

Pets - Covered by patch although i don't really think the bug proc helps much with all the deft casting. I would prefer cleanse cooldown for the gems that do make it through. But shatter can have a place vs organized teams I supposed.

Bow - Slumberskull Bow I have only seen this bow on the person who initially got it. I haven't seen anyone since then use it or ask about it. A potential fix for it could be to increase the slow amount and allow it to affect ranged as well.

Arrow - Heaven and Hell/Demontooth Arrow The heal and damage given by the HaH arrow are very low and nearly negligible even with a trishot that is only 60 heal and 60 extra damage. That will not help n many cases where people are doing thousands of damage to you and have thousands of hp to take all while constantly healing from regen or pets or gems. This could be fixed by making it 100/100 heal/curse to make it possibly more used in the current game. I have only seen the Demontooth arrow on builds focused towards super max damage since it has such a high max. Even then a better choice for that build would be the RR Arrow due to more consistent hits and less crits for 13. I can't think of a way to buff this without giving it a whole new proc or just giving it a 45 burn, 45 poison, 45 bleed and 45 disease each over 100s.

Quiver - Lava Vein Since this quiver was clearly made for melee/non archers the AC could be increased as well as a proc added that would add mitigation or change the ranged haste on it to melee, pet and gem haste.

A few builds are coming to fruition in recent months, I agree with most, but I'd add a couple points:

1h slash - rare build to begin with, so hard to judge, but I'd say beguiler is still pretty rare, with the exception of a couple newly built archer/shield/caster hybrids. it is a pretty strong weap tho. i kinda doubt a 1h slash will drop this week though.

2h slash - already dropped, but black edge is uber rare...i think i've only seen 1 or 2 of those around.

2h piercer - spear of providence is rare too, but it was out early, so a few ppl have them who haven't changed for whatever reason. 2h pierce seems to be more of a proc weapon though, since no one likes the build. ransuer is the most OP for farming.

staff - spoil and misery and enchantrix are both rare, but, we already got a staff(ty for 7 damage/hit) so...w/e.

whips - lots of unused, defo need some buffs there. albino and angel hair come to mind.

arrow - make heaven and hell also do a 20 cure. so 20/20/20. uber perfect vision! demontooth is actually the strongest for farming, no need for a buff imo.

the rest sound good and are pretty obvious to me!

Also, consider the 1h'ers that are supposed to be paired with shields. With so few shield users tanking nowadays, they might need to be looked at also. Aka...Dreadskull and Hammer of Unity

Yes TY rogue! Please buff the solar sheens! Very few other people ever use them permanently. Most people who have em also have a ton of different builds.

I think I totally agree with >.>

As long as we cant have on s2 our "rares" = weapons annouced in order there were announced to s1, it may be fair enough.

A pve pet would make sense as on S2 we have none (anti reg pet hits as much as gator)

Any whip of course , quiver and bow.

In general I think each class should be dropped that would be new to S2 but rare to S1. It will be fair for everyone.

S1 will break monopoly and S2 each build would have option to go with LG

The vamp whip could use a buff. Doubling the vamp effect and the max dps would be about right.

I wouldn't say the vamp needs that much of a buff maybe 8% to make it in line with the pets and bp but not 11%. That would be too much imo.

Vamp whip could do with a slight buff either by raising the base amount or changing the uptier from 0.5% to 1% (or a combination of both).

As for rarity, I can only think of three people off the top of my head who actually use it- Rogue, Ipoophard, and Oprichniki. Oh and Jarduss's alt. Four people.

We have various types of weapons dropped already.

Any chance for pet ?

Staff, 2h, 1h , bow, whip , quiver and arrow dropped already.

I know S1 have them all.

S2 is very thankful for this whole event. Even its not the best weapons but still much better than any epic.

Since we only have alligator available (no luck with yeti) any old lg pet would do.

Please think about it.

And one more question : on S2 black rider killed lg beast and got a gem.


Immediately after that he was PKK what happened to master ? Gem is cashed but master has no value . did person who PKK looted it or all is gone now ?
