Yes cause I HAVE to listen to advice. instead of attacking me why not gather actual information yourself instead of relying on glitch to do all the work. The amazing part is how little dex you need to make piercers effective I went from 660 dex to 550, and have had a very little impact in the amount of melee damage I do.

On a side note, though I doubt glitch is still paying attention since this thread has spiraled from a discussion on balance to a personal attack to multiple people, I would suggest being a little more careful about how aggressive/asshat-ish your posts are. Hard to talk balance when you are WTFBAN-hammered.(This applies to multiple people).

It's not my job to prove if something is unbalanced in a game. I play this game for fun not to test stuff, testing stuff is Glitch's job. So if he took my word that something needs a buff he'll check it out hopefully and test it himself

What information? That I should go Caster/piercer hybrid and us the crit chance proc? That isn't really information that proves anything

I appreciate your trying to help.. But that still doesn't proof that 1h pierers have fine dps.. That is if you go hybrid with DD's which I did before, my build looked something like that except more MST + REG and no defensive stats. If you were just to use 1h pierce as damage is what I mean,a nd that is what is so weak compared to other melee weapons

Well if you use just whips for DPs it blows to,that's why they have pets.....which they give a bonus to... HOLY CRAP, that piercer gives a boost to DD's. So we have already determined that the stats aren't a problem...and the gear isn't the problem...and skills aren't the problem...so what is?

Whips giving bonus to pets is a whole different thing. The ACTUAL whips give bonus to pets not the proc.. Pierce is ment for only melee, the proc is what gives it the bonus to DD lol. UNless Glitch decides to drop a 1h pierce that is way better than the one I got damage wise and proc wise.. but I doubt that lol

Pierce is not meant for melee only. It is the least stat intensive melee specialization, meaning it gives room for build divergence. Unless you have actual numbers to support your claims, i suggest you do not reply. I am trying to be polite considering your attitude and attacks on me, but I have my limits, and the build spreadsheets are something I have devoted a lot of time into.
