If you think it will benefit you to remain at 85 that is your choice. Epic pilgrimages are not for everyone. The hardest, highest level creatures have not been killed, however, nor will facing level 90s in the arena as a level 85 be very satisfying. Nor is leveling a skill to level 99 to 100 beneficial for an 85 vs. a 90 - not in the least. There are plenty of advantages to being level 90.

Answer my question PLEASE glitchy, so many people are now asking about it.

I have a VERY important question Glitchy! What happens when someone get back to cap after doing an Epic Pilgrimage, does the exp go back to normal?

Exp penalties for the 4 stat skills remain after pilgrimage. Transferring your 4 stat skills to the ratio you want will be difficult.

I too am wondering the same thing... I'm assuming the "pilgrimage" will be complete and gains will return to normal, but that is just an assumption.

That is retarded... you will kill the game if you do this.

You gave people no way to back out and make it pointless for people to NOT finish the 5 pilgrimages in a row. And removing Boon from it? Tsk..

What happens to the people who do manage to finish it and get to the epic quests and can't finish them and want to try a new build based on what they've encountered?

They will have to level in these pens from 1?

glitch, not allowing reroll while on pilgrimage is a bad idea, ive already gotten into it on an alt and finding it is not worth it to me, ive sold all gear and rerolled and now im still in penalties.

We see no harm in allowing people to bail out of a pilgrimage with a reroll. We'll be changing it so those who did this hoping it would be the case will find that it does.

Jada hit the nail on the head with this imo. Knowing that the penalties will remain forever would have deterred me from the pilgrimage. the way it is now, basically 'forces' you to go all the way to 90 now because most the players i'm assuming have an even build to get to cap and be done with it so they can 'fix' their stats and redistribute when the pilgrimage is over.

More info on this game-changing patch would of been a lot better.

I'm still not really happy with how the stat pens stays forever.. it will make adjusting builds as the game changes very difficult.

And starting a second pilgrimage will just be a pain..

And for the record, I'm not one of the people with a cookie cutter 140/1/140/59 build so this really doesn't effect me in the least.. I have only 1 skills that was 140.. and can easily make due with it being lower thanks to stone and water..but your strongly over estimating the will power of the people who play this game.

Make the game remember your highest level in the respective stat skill like is remembering your highest xp.
E.g : You went into your second pilgrim and leveled melee to lvl 10. Let`s say you either deleveld or rerolled, thus losing your 10 levels in melee. You will get no pilgrim penalty until you reach the highest level of melee which was 10, after reaching it the penalty will pop in.

If 1 receives 60k xp from mobs while on first pilgrimage, is it safe to say that during the second pilgrimage the same player with same learnings will receive less than 60k xp from those same mobs?

Not sure I agree with letting people abandon their journey because it is "too hard," but I don't exactly see a huge drawback to it. Decent patch update

Yeah, this whole thing seems really backward and counter-productive. It will encourage some people to spend even more time and money on the game, but it will also put the final nail in the coffin for many others. I like the attempt to bring something new to the game, but it is flawed in so many respects and too convoluted for something so pivotal to many capped players.

I don't see how it's backward..it's totally progressive. Read back above Glitch's post about how it actually improves the game. It's an increase in overall level, which is not to be underestimated.

It's actually not that much of an improvement..

Endgame mob's it really doesn't change all that much.. it lowers the pens on Epic skills, but in turn takes months apon months of normal rested time gain to reach.. which in turn could be spent in those penalties..

Not to mention mob HP increases dramatically from moving from Gob as a common farming spot to Fungi..so kill speed doesn't pan out, which was the same problem from the cap increase of 80-85..

The only true benefit from this patch is that epic player bonus health will be implemented, meaning those who had easier beasts at the start, or are shared.. will have yet another advantage over the common Joe and will be even harder to kill in arena. But in terms of PvE wise this doesn't change all that much in terms of progression..
