Here's something simpler: Autostacking asks for a captcha (or similar bot-proofing technology), but actually autostacks the whole inventory (instead of the mob's screen)

Make it a tool (so you could right-click and "craft" your own inventory into something much more organized)

I hear you loud and clear JV!

I also hear Glitchless is keeping a keen eye on this thread, so any further ideas or comments would be appreciated, and thank you to everyone who has posted so far.

I would support the idea of making trophy stacking a less work for all player (autostacking/reduced amount but of higher value etc).

An auto stacking feature would be very very welcome. I dont really understand why this would encourage botting but glitch has caught and banned botters before so imo we should just get the stacking feature and glitch should ban any botters like he always did before.

Bump. With the addition of Double Accel, this would be greatly appreciated.

May be for those who buy or already bought this new upgrade will activate autostacking option because we can loose serious time after battle or between battles trying to collect so many trophies who not fit in inventory slots.

This is a neat idea, but Glitchless... if you would, would you please hint as to whether or not you would implement this in some sort of way?

you lose 2 mins rrt. no matter the kind of accel you use (double accel even SAVES you rrt there...).and you save 1 rl hour per 6 hours rrt burned, the time argument/added tedium does not make sense. you get the same number of stacks, theyre just bigger.
i do see the point, but double accel has in no way affected that issue...
On the other hand, a buy-able sb stacking tool - maybe in faar or andol/draak - for craptons of gold would make a good gold sink...

double accel affects the issue since theres more full stacks that you get ..but yea not much affected by it

i do love the idea of autostack as stacking is seriously the most tedious thing and for a caster you actually have to stop farming to stack everything up if using the autoloot

I support this idea for a couple of reasons. First off playing a game is about fun, it shouldn't be a chore. Farming high lvl mobs has made trophy stacking just that. Secondly, I have been thinking about this whole 'botting' argument. Now I admit I don't have a lot of experience with bots, but I guess they are designed to do what you would if you were there.

So lets look at typical pit of eternity fight. You fight the mob, lets say you get 200 trophies. You autoloot and then stack into storage, then you fight again. There are the occasional fights where you become encumbered after just 1 fight. With carry capacity so limited, I don't see how a bot could work. I guess it would have to be programmed to click on every spot of your inventory and transfer to your storage. Or it could stack the trophies (but how would it know what type goes together?).

So lets see what it looks like if a 'autostack' feature was implemented. Same scenario. The problems are the same aren't they? Even if the person was so overpowered they could fight encumbered, it would only take a couple of battles to become more than X3 your capacity, at which point the game already prevents you from fighting. I cant see why anyone would make a bot that was useful for 2 or 3 battles.

Actually there is maybe 1. If you were grinding and had autostack, you could maybe go 10 battles before being encumbered. In this case simply make the function only working when your not in TM.

Just some thoughts.

Also I like the idea of an epic skill like was posted previously.

"Each level in this skill will add 1 more to the maximum stacking size when Auto looting provided it does not exceed your Item Stacking capacity". I think it would make a very nice travel skill. Make it epic if you want. I would certainly level it.

it is the same as you posting that you know nothing about bots, and then proceed to ramble on to prove that exact point. if you wish to say what and whatnot bots can do, please, look it up first

Your completely right Smash, I obviously don't know enough about bots to have an opinion on them. I've never actually researched them, and probably never will. Just trying to make a contribution to the discussion is all.

but everything your saying about said bot, is wrong.

bots CAN distinguish between colors.
they CAN move things into stash.

a properly coded bot, can do everything that a human can, and can do it faster and more efficient.

the more you want it to do, the more complex the coding for the bot is, but that doesnt mean it cant be done.

Yeah, sorry I had no idea. Just curious though, if bots can do all this, wouldn't people (who wanted to) be using them in NOD anyway? So the point would be to just not make it easier by putting in something like this? I just sounds like it already happens.
