I definitely like the Preservation skill idea. But I'm not sure on the calculations. I think Style would be right here in saying that at lvl 100 you would end up with a 75% percent chance with what you have suggested.

Base of 50%. The skill increases this by .5% each level. For most skills in this game, the bonus is a multiplicative increase, so 50% * (1 + 0.5%*SkillLevel). At level 100 that would be 50% *1.5 = 75% like Style said. 75% would be a pretty good savior of your trophies still, but if you wanted it to reach 100% preservation the increase per level would need to be 1%.

has to do with the way its worded to chism

if u add .5 per lvl to the current decay then its 100%
if its an extra .5% chance per lvl of trophies not decaying its 75%


but i agree it tends to be multiplicative instead of additive in this game

The reason that there is decay of trophys is that it makes it more realistic. i also agree that there should be a preservation skill but it shouldnt ever be allowed to reach 100% at most it should be 75-80%
