i'm not really sure what would happen but i can guess, market would quickly be flooded with non selling combats forcing lower and lower prices much like i see the spirit market doing.... caused by the bonuses capped get from BGT patch

now i cant see a problem to this except quickly the capped will be complaining about how worthless a combats zone is cause there as worthless or more than even spirits are, and the lower toons that sell trophies will not really ever be able to sell any to make any gold ..

lets face it without any other changes to things to balance out BGT eventually capped toons will have all the trophies they need then sell tons for lil of nothing to just buy up tc's , if you really think about it capped toons havent really gained as much as they think with the BGT patch cause if you get twice as many trophies but have to sell them for half as much and have to fight harder mobs =slower fights have you really come out ahead.
i know some results are differant this was just an example

but ya i'm thinking maybe more uses for spirits may be a better solution or something idk but markets , supply, demand sure are far from balanced but tbh in the case of combats thats kinda a good thing cause at least they still have some value.

just my opinion not ment to bash, insult or even say anyones wrong, just that there must be a good way to balance these things out

the constantly shifting ratios from zones and the spirits at cap are what made me switch from slash to BM. I support, even though it wouldnt affect me much

Goblin Swamp should be 75% or 100% combat to balance it imo.

the fact that sandy has the same mob lvls and is 75% spirit should be enough to consider readjusting nlake.

to add to it you have dmv , dam, vd3 & 4 along with redwood @ 75% spirit.

WC and Pit are 75% combat but what capped melee toons can actually farm any of those efficiently if at all.

So realistically casters if they are lagging can farm dam with ease....if they are moderate have sandy to work with. Decent casters can farm dmv w/o issues just as fast if not faster than a melee toon farming nlake yet. And then you have the elite casters....which there are a couple dozen at this point whom can farm gob swamp more efficiently than melee in nlake and can go to vd3 and still be comparable to a melee toon in dmv.

if this change or similer one is made i urge Glitchless to not make it a area that can be farmed just 1 outta town so that he can take care of his other concern of people just huddled together farming just out of town.. get them to scatter and spread out because the same issue that effects any real pkers will also be a factor in effecting real wars.. nobody is going to pk someone in a huge group 1 outta town just as nobody would ever clan battle them there either in proposed real clan wars ..

again just my opinion for what its worth

be easier rather than having to create a whole new area to just make it so you cant escape to town if forced on, in either situation. also maybe putting back some old travel skills and that delay on escaping, but only if 1 square away from town or something

yeah...how about we get a 75% combat zone anywhere in the 85-95 range only until these legendary weapons come out?

I like goodevil's thinking and think gob swamp would be great for this.
