I'm monu, level 60, caster/archer.

I'm quickly levelign to 80 and then fixing my casting skills...it takes too much at my level to keep them up to par, they are 8 levels behind.

My advice is stop at 78. After wc it's harder for archers.

go with what paul say...in my past experience raising an archer,u can still farm fast up to s lake given if u overskilling archery skills

You can farm pretty nicely at North Lake if you build properly aswell and don't worry about sub builds so much..

Sub builds (BM/Shield/Caster) do help aton in terms of Epic Hunting and arena..But don't always mean faster farm speeds!

Actually if I don't get my flame call out or correct gems I farm a ton slower. I use theft runes to support me so it doesn't take much time out.

Using Mantaray Bow. The Elk Bow was too expensive...

Rakar lvl 68 Ranger/Priest

Solid build before I rerolled, solo'd up to the 88 bosses at lvl 59 with it and the gems I was using, which was something pretty decent. The Ranger/Priest has a solid couple bonuses put together for a more defensive support build giving a solid ca for both offensive and defensive purposes.

I'm slightly insulted that no one thought to mention me. I've been using a bow since lvl 5. I might not be capped, or ever have reached cap, but I've still done some impressive things (just check the tops list) as a vamp/ranger with an archer/DoT caster build. Anyways, if anyone has any questions, feel free to PM me, and I'll get back to you asap. Like most other long time archers I know how most of the skills work, inside and out, and if you manage to stump me, I can usually get the answer pretty quickly.

my alt frothie lvl 26-29 angel/?
does just fine with pure CNC/dex shielded dot caster "my bo will hit for
more than my total health and in only half way thru boon. 599 max crit so
far all skills archer 33 plus zero in posion arrow.
I use all colors of dots red black green white.

fun to play to scarry to walk away.
